Vincotto

Made in Lecce by the Calogiuri family from a carefully guarded recipe since 1825, Vincotto is a unique condiment. Syrupy and delicious, it is made by cooking the must of late harvested Negromaro and Malvasia nera grapes over a low flame for 20 hours, which is then aged for 4 years with a mother must in oak casks. This produces Vincotto Caloguiri, the original Vincotto. Also available with flavours infused from fruits from the family’s own orchard.
