A southern Rhône red with oodles of class here, from a renowned Chateauneuf du Pape producer. The Grenache and Syrah gives a lovely alluring red berry fruit and spicy aroma. The theme continues through the palate, with juicy raspberry and plum flavours, balanced by earthy, spicy hints, soft tannins and balanced acidity. The overall style of the wine is a good bright, lighter style, that is moreish and comforting.
