Authentic Italian Grana Padano, first invented by monks 1000 years ago to use surplus milk. Whilst similar in style to Parmigiano Reggiano, Grana Padano is from a different region of Italy, has a lower fat content and a shorter aging period. This creates a delicate, milder hard Italian cheese. Perfect for creamy risottos, to top soups or to season pasta.

Milk: Cow, unpasteurised
Origin: Italy

Fabulous cheese that I use for many dishes or delicious simply nibbled on with a glass of wine. I like that I can go to the Sabato website or Google "Sabato Recipe for ............" where I can find fabulous recipes on how to use lots of the food items I buy at Sabato.
