Welcome to Sabato
Sabato is a fine food importer, distributor and retailer. We are a New Zealand family-owned business and are based in Mount Eden, Auckland.
Our retail store is open to the public and the wholesale side of the business supplies many of the great restaurants, fine food stockists and select supermarkets throughout the country.

Since 1993 we have been sourcing fine foods primarily from Italy, Spain and France. Most of our suppliers are small (often family run) businesses who use traditional artisan methods of production to create outstanding products.
We regularly travel to Europe to check product quality, collect information on trends and source new interesting products/suppliers. As a result, Sabato has been first to introduce many key ingredients to the New Zealand market, such as La Chinata smoked paprika, Calogiuri Vincotto, El Navarrico piquillo pimientos and Valrhona chocolate, and we enjoy continuing to make exciting additions to the range.
We also offer our own range of ingredients and pre-prepared meals made in-house and stock other specially selected New Zealand products.

The Sabato retail store is located at 57 Normanby Road, Mt. Eden, Auckland and is open 7 days a week (closed public holidays). We offer free customer parking right outside the shop for your convenience.
Visit us in-store for fabulous cooking demonstrations, product tastings, the finest selection of New Zealand and European cheese and a great selection of kitchenware and gifts. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to guide you through our offering and introduce you to wonderful gourmet ingredients.
