Pinoli Ltd is privately-owned and takes great pride in bringing this natural and ancient food product to market from sustainable orchards. They have been growing their trees for over twenty years and process their pine nuts in a world-class facility built in 2013 in Marlborough, New Zealand. Pinoli grows the European stone pine tree, (Pinus pinea), sometimes known as the umbrella pine. The Marlborough region’s climate is very similar to parts of the Mediterranean, making it ideal for growing pine nut orchards. Pinoli’s orchards are free of herbicides, insecticides and fungicides, and their factory uses only pure, filtered water and heat.

Pinoli pine nuts are a healthy and nutritious natural whole food. They contain the highest protein count of all nuts (34% by weight). They have an elegant shape, a delicate texture with a smooth, satiny surface, crisp bite and distinctive taste. These are hallmarks of the freshness of the product and demonstrate the careful preparation of the kernels.
