Food Show 2015

What a busy time we had at The Food Show for over four days last month. We sponsored the VIP Lounge, which for $100 offered great value. People received a goodie bag worth about $60, lots of delicious food, wine, coffee and tea all day, as well as regular little demonstration classes- just for them.

We cooked risotto everyday teaching people how to use Ferron rice, and his no-stir method- it was a lot of fun. Meanwhile, on the stand we built ourselves, the Sabato team were busy tasting a small range of our products and building and selling towers of our specially selected, extra fine quality Parmigiano Reggiano as well as English Westcombe and Wensleydale Cheddar. The crowds were very impressed. The first people through the door were some very familiar faces- clients of Sabato since we started. Brian Campbell was on the Fresh As stand using Valrhona Opalys with their range, and cracked some whole wheels of our Parmigiano Reggiano.

Karena and Kasey (winners of Masterchef) used the Pons Tabasco spray, Sabato tartare mayonnaise and Forum Chardonnay vinegar with the Tohu oysters - and we had a great conversation with the Bondi Harvest boys. A busy, buzzy weekend - all about food!
