A slightly sweet savoury jam made with Spanish piquillos (peppers) that have been roasted over oak coals. El Navarrico pimiento jam has a rounded sweet capsicum flavour, a light smokiness and no heat.
Serve alongside cheese, with cold meats or in sandwiches. Add a spoonful to a dressing of Forvm Cabernet Sauvignon vinegar or Capirete Sherry vinegar and extra virgin olive oil to add a sweet smoky note and toss through a salad that includes El Navarrico beans or chickpeas.
