These Nduja Grilled Mussels are the ultimate summer dish, effortless to prepare yet bursting with bold, fiery flavour. With just three ingredients, these deliver the perfect balance of heat and richness, great for gatherings!
Makes approximately 15 mussels.
500g fresh mussels
1 Tbsp Callipo Nduja (depending on your level of spice)
100g Lewis Road lightly salted butter
Scrub and debeard the mussels. Steam open mussels in a little white wine. Remove the tongue and take off one shell.
In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Once it starts to turn slightly brown, add the nduja and cook for 20 seconds.
Carefully spoon the nduja butter over each mussel, ensuring they are generously coated. Place the mussels under the grill for for a few minutes, or until the butter is bubbling.
Serve and enjoy!
